CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 21-142 <br /> APPROVING THE NAME AND LOGO OF THE ROOKERY ACTIVITY CENTER <br /> WHEREAS,A primary key to success of launching the former YMCA facility is to create a brand <br /> identity for the new recreation center; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council approved the brand and marketing proposal with GameDay Sports <br /> during the September 13, 2021 City Council meeting; and <br /> WHEREAS, during the November 1, 2021 City Council work session,Mr. Marc Morgan, <br /> Managing Partner of GameDay Sports,presented the proposed name of"The Rookery" along with <br /> several marketing themes for the recreation center. Based on feedback from the City Council, <br /> GameDay Sports along with WSB, developed several logo concepts that were reviewed by the Rec <br /> Center Advisory Committee on November 17, 2021; and <br /> WHEREAS,based on feedback Mr.Morgan presented several logo designs to the full City Council. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes hereby <br /> approves the name "The Rookery Activity Center" and the accompanying logo. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 22°d day of November, 2021. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br /> "ci e n and was duly seconded by Councilmember Rah I c-vid and upon vote being <br /> taken thereon,the following voted in favor thereof: Ruhland, Lyden, Stoesz, Rafferty <br /> The following voted against same: LIvey h <br /> Ro ferty,Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> e Bartell, Ci4 Cle <br />
