Ile <br />CITY OF <br />LQ� KES <br />To: Katie Larsen <br />From: Andy Nelson <br />Environmental Memo <br />Date: January 5tt', 2022 <br />Re: Environmental Board Comments/January 4t', 2022/Robinson Property <br />The Environmental Board, at their January 4t", 2022 meeting, had the following <br />recommendations for Robinson Property Concept Plan: <br />1. A multi -functional, cohesive Greenway System plan shall be incorporated into the <br />development, including trails, open space, natural areas, wetland and buffers, <br />stormwater management features, and floodplain management. <br />2. A diverse mix of native plants and plants beneficial to pollinators shall be utilized <br />wherever possible and/or practical. This should include vegetative buffers around <br />wetlands and stormwater management features, and also in required open space <br />and landscape plantings. <br />3. Wider native vegetation buffers should be included adjacent to ponds, including <br />on rear lot lines. <br />0 Page 1 <br />
