2-26 <br /> § 1007.023 ENFORCEMENT AND PENALTIES. <br /> <br />(1) Administration and Enforcement. <br /> <br />(a) This ordinance shall be administered and enforced by the Zoning Administrator who <br />is appointed by the City Council. The Zoning Administrator may institute in the name of the City <br />of Lino Lakes any appropriate actions or proceedings against a violator as provided by statute, <br />ordinance, or code. <br /> <br />(b) If the provisions of this ordinance are being violated, the City shall notify, in writing, <br />the person responsible for such violations, indicating the nature of the violation and ordering the <br />action necessary to correct it. The City shall order discontinuance of illegal use of land, buildings <br />or structures; removal of illegal buildings or structures or of additions, alterations or structural <br />changes thereto; discontinuance of any illegal work being done; or shall take any other action <br />authorized by this Section to ensure compliance with or to prevent violation of its provisions. <br /> <br />(2) Penalties, Violations, and Enforcement. In addition to the remedies set out in the <br />paragraph above, the City may enforce any provisions of this Ordinance by mandamus, injunction, <br />or any other appropriate remedy in any court of competent jurisdiction. <br />
