Schifsky& Sons, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council finds that it would be in the best interest of the city to proceed with <br /> Base Bid and Alternates 1 and 2, <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes: <br /> 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with T.A. <br /> Schifsky& Sons, Inc., in the amount of$1,213,104.39 by the name of the City of Lino <br /> Lakes for the Base Bid,Alternate 1,and Alternate 2 construction of the 2022 Street <br /> Rehabilitation Project according to the plans and specifications approved by the City <br /> Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br /> 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidder the Bid <br /> Bonds made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next <br /> two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14th day of February, 2022. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br /> Cavegm and was duly seconded by Councilmember Ruhland and upon vote being taken <br /> thereon,the following voted in favor thereof: Ruhland, Cavegn, Lyden, Stoesz, Rafferty <br /> The following voted against same: None <br />
