MEETING DATE <br />TOPIC: <br />VOTE REQUIRED: <br />INTRODUCTION <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 6C <br />Diane Hankee, PE City Engineer <br />February 14, 2022 <br />Consider Resolution 22-23, Order Project, Approve the Plans <br />and Specifications and Authorize the Ad for Bid, 2022 East <br />Shadow Lake Drive Utility Project <br />3/5 <br />Staff is requesting Council approval to authorize the ad for bid for the 2022 East Shadow Lake <br />Drive Utility Project. <br />BACKGROUND <br />On December 13, 2021, the City Council approved the preparation of the plans and specifications <br />for the 2022 East Shadow Lake Drive Utility Project. The proposed improvements will include <br />replacement of sagging sanitary pipes, manholes, water system replacement, roadway <br />reconstruction and restoration of adjacent property at and near the intersection of East Shadow <br />Lake Drive and Lantern Lane. The project will result in reduced inflow and infiltration of <br />ground water in the sanitary sewer system. <br />The estimated total project cost is $510,000.
