Shenandoah Park Stormwater Quality BMP Feasibility Study <br />February 24, 2022 <br />Page 2 <br />Task 3: Develop P8 Models <br />Cost: $3,192 <br />Based on the hydrologic characteristics developed for the XP-SWMM model, P8 models will then <br />be prepared to estimate pollutant removals for each conceptual design option developed in Task <br />1. As a foundation, a P8 model will be prepared to estimate existing TP and TSS loads using the <br />watershed information in the RLSSR Assessment and the pond drainage and pollutant loading <br />information in the City's SWAMP system. The existing model will then be modified by <br />representing the BMP(s) for each proposed design option to quantify annual removal of TP and <br />TSS. The TP and TSS information generated will be checked against modeling data summarized <br />in the RLSSR Assessment for RCWD subcatchment RL-13. <br />Deliverable(s): Existing and proposed P8 Models for three design options. <br />Task 4: Construction Estimates and Permit Requirements Cost: $3,390 <br />WSB will develop construction cost estimates for each conceptual design option developed in <br />Task 1. Cost estimates will be developed from previous WSB projects and MnDOT unit pricing. <br />Permit requirements will also be identified for each option. WSB will calculate the cost per pound <br />of TP and TSS removed for each of the three options. <br />Deliverable(s): Cost estimate and permitting requirement tables. <br />Task 5: Refine Design and Final Feasibility Report Cost: $4,800 <br />After completion of Tasks 1-3, WSB will meet with City and RCWD staff to review the three <br />design options and select a preferred alternative option. At this meeting, staff will review any <br />possible improvements to the preferred alternative. Based on the outcome of this meeting, the <br />information developed for the preferred alternative in Tasks 1-3 will be further refined and <br />presented in a final feasibility report. Funding opportunities will be identified within the feasibility <br />study. The study will be submitted to the RCWD for review before finalization. WSB will respond <br />to one round of RCWD and City comments. <br />Deliverable(s): Final report. <br />SCHEDULE AND COST <br />The cost to complete Tasks 1-5 is not to exceed $21,925.
