STAFF ORIGINATOR: <br />MEETING DATE: <br />TOPIC: <br />VOTE REQUIRED: <br />BACKGROUND: <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 1F <br />Lisa Hogstad-Osterhues, Deputy City Clerk <br />April 25, 2022 <br />Consider Approval of Resolution 22-43, Blue Heron <br />Elementary School and PTO Family Fun Day <br />Simple Majority (3/5 Vote Required) <br />The Blue Heron Elementary School and PTO has applied for a Special Event Permit for <br />Saturday, May 20, 2022. <br />The applicant is proposing to have food trucks, a DJ, craft vendors and a silent auction, <br />located at the Blue Heron Elementary School at 405 Elm Street. <br />The application has been reviewed by staff, including the public safety department. The <br />applicant has been provided with a list of safety conditions. The applicant has agreed to <br />comply with the conditions and to address any other safety considerations that may arise. <br />Therefore, staff is presenting for city council consideration a resolution authorizing the <br />issuance of a Special Event Permit for Blue Heron Elementary School and PTO. <br />A Certificate of Insurance has been submitted by Centennial School District to the City <br />for this event. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Approve Resolution No. 22-43 authorizing issuance of Special Event Permit for the Blue <br />Heron Elementary School and PTO Family Fun Day. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Resolution 22-43 <br />
