CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 3B <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Meg Sawyer, HR and Communications Manager <br />MEETING DATE: April 25, 2022 <br />TOPIC: Approve the Hiring of Part -Time Staff for The Rookery <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />INTRODUCTION <br />The Council is being asked to approve the hiring of part-time staff for The Rookery Activity <br />Center. <br />BACKGROUND <br />As we continue to move forward with the opening of the new activity center, staff is seeking <br />approval to hire part-time personnel to work at The Rookery. <br />The recruiting process has started with interviewing and background investigations. This process <br />has identified candidates that will be a great addition to our staff at The Rookery. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the Council approve the hiring of the part-time personnel listed below: <br />■ Lauren Shier, Lifeguard <br />■ Alexis Ready, Lifeguard <br />■ Kaden Herrera, Lifeguard <br />■ Marty Asleson, Lifeguard <br />■ Aidan Ford, Lifeguard <br />■ Amanda Stoltzman, Guest Services Representative <br />■ Jodi McGregor, Guest Services Representative <br />■ Callie Huntington, Guest Services Representative <br />■ Roxanne Newton, Guest Services Representative <br />■ Kelly Siler, Guest Services Representative <br />■ Daniel Nordine, Guest Services Representative <br />■ Ann Christenson, Guest Services Representative <br />Start dates vary based on position, training schedule, and facility opening date. <br />Please approve the above personnel for the part-time positions at The Rookery Activity Center. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />None <br />
