CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO.22-38 <br />ACCEPTING BASE BID AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT <br />2022 EAST SHADOW LAKE DRIVE UTILITY PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the 2022 East Shadow <br />Lake Drive Utility Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the <br />following bids were received complying with the advertisement; and <br />CONTRACTOR <br />TOTAL BASE BID <br />Dresel Contracting, Inc. <br />$547,438.11 <br />Northdale Construction Company, Inc. <br />$675,676.43 <br />Meyer Contracting, Inc. <br />$682,927.35 <br />T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. <br />$689,848.61 <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Dresel Contracting, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the best interest of the city to proceed with <br />Base Bid, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes: <br />The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Dresel <br />Contracting, Inc., in the amount of $547,438.11 by the name of the City of Lino Lakes for <br />the Base Bid construction of the 2022 East Shadow Lake Drive Utility Project according to <br />the plans and specifications approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the <br />City Clerk. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the Bid <br />Bonds made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next <br />two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 25t' day of April, 2022. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />and was duly seconded by Council Member and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />
