• Lake Drive and Main Street — principal crossroad in City — NW corner being <br />considered for redevelopment. <br />• Main Street and 35E — Developing commercial center — NE Master Plan <br />underway. <br />• County Road J and 35E — Southeastern Gateway to City — Planning underway for <br />reconstruction of bridge and CRJ corridor from Centerville Road to Otter Lake <br />Road. <br />• County Road J and Hodgson Road — Southern Gateway — Lyngblomsten <br />redevelopment in northwest corner — Planning for reconstruction of CRJ and <br />Hodgson in progress. <br />Approximately $34,000 is budgeted annually in the Planning budget for code updates, <br />small area plans, and other consultant services. The zoning ordinance will be completed <br />in 2022 along with the sign ordinance. We are also intending to potentially start the <br />update of the Shoreland Ordinance. In addition, the Council recently authorized a master <br />planning process for 400 acres of commercial/industrial land northeast of the 35E/Main <br />Street corridor. <br />If the City Council is interested in pursuing this recommendation staff can reevaluate <br />future project and funding priorities. <br />Requested Council Direction <br />Staff is requesting City Council direction regarding the Planning and Zoning Board's <br />recommendation. <br />
