CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO.22-43 <br /> AUTHORIZING A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT FOR BLUE HERON ELEMENTARY <br /> SCHOOL AND PTO FAMILY FUN DAY ON MAY 20,2022 <br /> WHERAS,the Blue Heron Elementary School and PTO has submitted an application for a <br /> special event permit; and <br /> WHERAS,the event plan includes a DJ outdoors from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, May 20, <br /> 2022 as well as various food trucks, craft vendors and a silent auction; and <br /> WHERAS,the Public Safety Department has reviewed plans for the event and has provided <br /> conditions for the permit; and <br /> WHEREAS,the food truck vendors are required to contact the Anoka County Environmental <br /> Services at 763-324-4260 for permission to operate in the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the food truck vendors are required to provide their state licensing information as <br /> well as Anoka County Environmental Services licensing to the Blue Heron Elementary School <br /> and PTO; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Public Safety Department requires food vendors to be at least 20 feet from the <br /> structures; and <br /> WHERAS,proof of general liability insurance has been submitted by Centennial School District <br /> to cover all events held on the Centennial School District property; and <br /> WHEREAS,the school will be open for restroom use as well as the nurse's station if needed; <br /> WHEREAS, city staff has reviewed the Special Event Permit for the festival event for <br /> concurrence with city regulations; and <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> That the City Council authorizes issuance of a Special Event Permit to the Blue Heron <br /> Elementary School and PTO for the event scheduled on May 20, 2022,with conditions attached <br /> hereto. <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 25th day of April, 2022. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br /> Cavegn and was duly seconded by Councilmember Lyden and upon vote being taken thereon, <br /> the following voted in favor thereof: Cavegn, Lyden, Stoesz, Rafferty <br /> The following voted against same: None (Absent- Ruhland) <br />
