John Gardner has not <br />contacted Marty back as of today. <br /> <br />Discussion- recommend a year if we can feel it would be a better option. <br />Revise section K – soft recyclables– less items – concerns about competing with our <br />recycling days. <br />Maybe keep checking other reviews <br /> <br />In favor of concept – needs some fine-tuning and getting some answers before we <br />move forward. Recycling Survey/ Ms. Holmes wanted to know what other cities are participating. <br /> <br />Fourteen people responded – link was in the newsletter. Residents would like a bigger <br />container at no change. Need to get the word out to residents. <br /> <br />Comments – extra cart / curbside textiles recycling / curbside organic recycling <br /> <br />B. Earth Day and Arbor Day <br /> <br />Review the powerpoint <br />Update –emerald ash borer <br />Activites – origami and seed <br /> <br />Ms. Holmes contacted a Boy Scout that she knows but has not heard back yet. <br /> <br />Mr. Asleson would like help with planting trees around a pond. Still looking for <br />volunteers – maybe National Honor Society <br /> <br />Arbor Day is May 28th at Rice Lake Elemenarty- proclamation has to be submitted to <br />the state. <br /> <br />7.
