Evironmental Board <br />January 29, 2014 <br />Page 3 <br />DRAFT MINUTES <br /> Ms. Andrzejewski motioned to approve the NorthPointe Landscaping plan with <br /> recommendations. Motion was seconded by Ms. Morin. Motioned carried 5-0 in favor. <br /> <br />B. Talan Ridge <br /> <br /> The site is located at 260 Linda Avenue. The owner wants to create two additional <br /> residential lots by subdividing the property. The total site acreage is 1.52. The area of <br /> disturbed soil is less than 1 acre. <br /> <br /> The Recommendations are as follows: <br /> <br />1. Soils should not be imported to the site if they would change the nature of existing <br />pervious soils. <br />2. Delineate Wetlands on the site before Final Plat <br />3. Show the location of tree preservation fences. <br />4. Soil erosion perimeter control must be shown on the map for parcels and existing <br />wetlands on the site. <br />5. Infiltration should be provided for the 100 year flood with some pretreatment of <br />stormwater before flowing into wetlands. <br />6. Stormwater should not travel to adjacent properties. <br />7. Well point existing on the site must be mapped. <br /> Ms. Andrzejewski motioned to approve the Talan Ridge plan. Motion was seconded by <br /> Ms. Klebba. Motioned carried 5-0 in favor. <br /> <br />6. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> <br /> A. Environmental Regulation Update/Mike Grochala <br /> <br /> The Environmental Board has asked for an update on environmental regulation that <br />effects project review. Mike Grochala will give that update when we have our annual <br />NPDES review in the next few months. Last year we had this in May. <br /> <br /> The board would like an email sent out with links to documents <br /> <br /> B. Power Point Slides and Pictures/Environmental Board Focus Areas <br /> <br /> There was discussion on the power point information that is being collected for the <br /> Environmental Board information presentation. There is a lot of pictures and information <br /> to go through. <br />
