<br />APPROVED MINUTES <br /> The Assessment of Development, Suitability and Natural Resources <br />Conservation Opportunities study, <br /> The City of Lino Lakes Local Surface Water Management Plan <br /> <br />7. Support the Community Garden site and continue the partnership with Park <br />Department to manage the Community Garden site, adapt gardens to site land <br />sale. <br /> <br />8. Do an annual review/update in regards to the Lino Lakes EAB Implementation <br />Plan. Offer residents opportunities for tree purchasing. Obtain Forestry interns <br />and train them in Ash Tree Treatment and start treating a third of our City <br />boulevard trees. <br /> <br />9. Continue to work on Wollan’s Park Wetland bank to achieve wetland bank credits <br />by the end of the year 2019 and investigate new banking opportunities . Help to <br />establish and support a city wide process to fund wetland banking. <br /> <br />10. Continue to monitor the Heron rookery and water quality in the northern one third <br />of Peltier Lake and to support the protection of resources in that area. Update <br />Council on these matters. Recruit new volunteers to help with rookery <br />maintenance and monitoring. <br /> <br />11. Support Stormwater efforts of our Engineering Department in Community <br />Development to develop a NPDES next phase inventory of our ponds and support <br />adequate funding for needed maintenance efforts and in emergency situations and <br />regular maintenance of drainage areas. <br /> <br />12. Support the maintenance of established conservation easement areas where <br />funding is available. <br /> <br />B. Recycling Updates – Nan Jia <br /> <br />Ms. Jia mentioned that in December there will be Christmas tree recycling at Sunrise <br />and Country Lakes Park. There will also be Christmas lights recycling at Ace <br />Hardware and at the Saturday recycling in January. <br /> <br />Ms. Jia is working on the SCORE reports and will have some updates next month. <br /> <br />C. Wollan’s Park Wetland Bank Update <br /> <br />Mr. Asleson was grateful for the equipment use in Wollan’s Park and getting the <br />project done.
