2- <br />A long discussion of plumbing inspection for the Village ensued. The Minnesota <br />State Plumbing Code Book was discussed as a possible basis for a new ordinance. <br />It wee decided that Mr. Jester would talk with several qualified plumbers and <br />inspectors in neighboring villages and get their professional opinions on plumbing <br />codes and inspectors. It was pointed out that if a plumbing inspector ever is hired <br />he should be one that has no profit interest in this community, nor one who's com- <br />petition does. <br />Mr. Rehbein stated that the Mobile Home Ordinance would be discussed next month due <br />to lack of attendance. <br />Mr. Cardinal presented the new zoning map of the Village, which is already out - dated. <br />Mr. Cardinal asked Mr. Locher to state the latest developments of the Rolland Johnson <br />case. Judge Gillespie had denied the petition which had tried to force the Council <br />to issue a building permit on a lot on a non- existing road. Mr. Johnson had appealed <br />to the Supreme Court and had requested them to waive the appeal bond which states <br />that he must pay the court costs if he loses. The Council had voted to defend the <br />appeal and denied the waiver of the bond. No date was set for the hearing. <br />Mr. Jester moved to adjourn at 9:45, seconded by Mr. Brovold. Carried.
