Planning Board Minutes
The Sept. 20 meeting of the Lino Lakes Planning Commission was called to
order by Chairman Glenn Rebbein. Minutes were read and approved. Members
present were Rehbein, Kelling, Cardinal, Bryant and Klepel.
It was announced that a meeting was held Aug 31 with Mr. Forest Taeg
regarding the offer of land for the village. g meeting will be held on
Sept. 21 with the Gethsemane Methodist Church to discuss possible
arrangements for access to this property.
Mr. Duane Cardinal was present to request a variance on 2 lots on Oak
Lane. This variance would be necessary because of the closeness to a
possible future road right -of -way. Discussion was held. Motion was
made by Kelling, seconded by Bryant that we recommend that he be given a
variance on tract 3 and 4 providing he add 5 more ft. to tract 4 and
keep the house as far from the right -of -way as possible. Carried.
Andy Cardinal reported that Mr. Bill Houle requested that his property be
rezoned to Commercial because of the close proximity to freeways.
Questions were raised as to in what this would do to his txes and the
cost of building a road to give direct freeway access as there didn't seem
to be any. Motion by Kelling seconded by Rehbein that we table this
until later and ask him to look into it further constiting with an
attorney and engineer.
Andy Cardinal also brought up about s. possible problem with multiple
dwellings regarding sewage. This lead to a discussion on sewer in our
village. All present felt that sewer at this time is out of the question
because of the great cost to t'__e individual.
Meeting Adjourned.
Respectfully submitted,
