Zoning and Planning poard <br />The Nov 15th meeting of the Lino Lakes Planning Commission was called to order by <br />chairman Glenn Rehbein. Minutes of previous re- :ular meeting were read and approved. <br />Members present were: Rehbein, Heckenlaible, Ke i iin' , Jester, Stanley aa.ndKlepel. <br />r. Geo. Loss appeared main with his request for permission to move a motel into <br />our village. He reviewed his plans for remodeling of the unit and sowed tentative <br />pictures of the site and possible future development. Al Dupre Buildin:- Inspector <br />and ind, Cardinal and otherfwho had visited it reported and showed pictures on the <br />condi5:ion of it. Structurly it was o.k. but needed repair otherwise. <br />Motion Kelling seceded by Jester we recommend the council not grant permission <br />for the project. In favor of motion: Kelling, Jeste.:, Stanley Rehbein. Against <br />Heckenlaible, Klepel <br />Representatives of the B.W. and Leo Harris Co and Ackerberg and Assoc. Inc. <br />Arc'lietects appeared to ask the opinion of the Planning ComMission on a proposed <br />development ti..:. corner of Mainn St and 5E. A plan was sown which included <br />shopping center, apartments, medial clinic, service station:, supper club and trailer <br />court. They said that this would be developed over a period of Jars. The Planning <br />Board reacted favor,.bliy to the proposed project. They felt it should be re- <br />zoned commercial. <br />Mrs. Letornau appeared telling-_ of her desire to start an amusement park on j3O acres <br />of land. This would include various rides, a kiddy farm, roller rink etc. She was <br />informed she would have to have the land rezoned com erci:.l.
