The regular Planning and Zoning Board meeting scheduled for October 16, 1968, was <br />cancelled due to lack of a quorum. A special meeting was set for Monday, October <br />28, at 7:45 p.m. to vote on a Special Use Permit for Mr. Edward Wiener to place a <br />mobile home on his land for his elderly mother -in -law. <br />A special meeting of the Planning and Zoning Board was called to order at 7:45 p.m. <br />on October 28 by Chairman Rehbein. MeMbera present were Rehbein, Kslling, McLean, <br />Jester and Stanley. <br />Attorney Locher presented the affidavit of posting and mailing the -cotioe of a public <br />hearing on'petition for a special use permit for Mr. Edward Wiener to place, maintain <br />and have occupied as a residence, by Ada Nelson, a mobile home on the lend owned by <br />Mr. Wiener on Ware Road having the following legal description: <br />Lots 4 and 5, Arthur E. Thom Acres No. 2, according to the prep or plat <br />thereof on file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds <br />in and for the County of Anoka. <br />After discussion, W. Kelling moved to recommend to the Council that they grant the <br />Special use permit for the duration of Ada Nelson's lifetime. Seconded by Mr. McLean. <br />Carried. <br />Gerald Metegkoo requested a variance for a lot on Main Street less than 2 1/2 acres <br />in size having the following legal description: <br />The South 292 feet of the West 152 feet of Lot 4, Part of Lot 19, <br />Auditor's Subdivision No. 138, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br />14r. Stanley moved that we reeaamend to the Council to grant the above variance.. <br />Seconded by Mr. McLean. Carried. <br />Mr. Cardinal stated that Howard Speiser of Birch Street wanted an indication of <br />feeling of the Board on a variance for a lot on Birch Street. It was the general <br />feeling that nothing could be decided without a legal description. <br />Mr. Rehbein announced a special meeting for Tuesday, October 29 at 8 p.m. <br />Mr. Rolling moved to adjourn at 8 :02 p.m. Seooaded by Mr. Jester. Carried.
