MINUTES <br /> LINO LAKES HOME RULE CHARTER COMMISSION <br /> September 15, 1993 <br /> LINO LAKES CITY HALL <br /> Call to Order <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:10 PM <br /> Roll Call <br /> Present were Matthew Blaylock, William Bohjanen, Robert Doocy, William <br /> Houle, Rolf Iverson, Raymond Johnson, Sally Kuether, Beverly Landers, Ina <br /> Liljedahl, Al Ross, Joyce Scharpen, Pat Smith, David Storberg, and Robert <br /> Williams. <br /> Also present were Brian Wessel, EDAAB Chairman. <br /> OId Business <br /> The minutes from the September 1, 1993 were read and approved. <br /> The community meeting help by the Charter Commission was discussed. <br /> Additional comments were heard from the floor. <br /> Brian Wessel presented a revised draft of EDAAB's proposed amendment <br /> to Chapter 8 of the City Charter (attached). <br /> A motion was made and seconded _to "withdraw the previous motion (July <br /> 28, 1993) and to further propose that the Charter Commission adopt the <br /> EDAAB proposal of September 15, 1993 including the legal description of <br /> the affected properties and forward it to the City Council for consideration <br /> and develop and ordinance to deal with the interests and concerns to <br /> protect residential property owners in the affected areas and return the <br /> amendment and proposed ordinance to the Charter Commission for final <br /> consideration". <br /> The motion passed with a vote of 11 yes, 2 no, and 1 abstention. <br /> New Business <br /> None. <br />
