MINUTES <br /> LINO LAKES HOME RULE CHARTER COMMISSION <br /> JUNE 30, 1993 <br /> LINO LAKES CITY HALL <br /> �^ r: 7 <br /> Call to Order ` <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:06 PM <br /> Roll Call <br /> Present were Pat Smith, David Storberg, Robert Doocy, Beverly Landers, <br /> Matthew Blaylock, Ina Liljedahl, William Houle, Joyce Scharpen, Rolf <br /> Iverson, and Al Ross. <br /> Members of the Economic Development Advisory Board present were Brian <br /> Wessel and Don Gorowsky. <br /> Also present were City Administrator Randy Schumacher and City Engineer <br /> Darryl Schneider. <br /> Present at the request of the Charter Commission were Lino Lakes City <br /> Bond Attorney Dave Kennedy of the law firm of Holms and Graven and <br /> Moundsview City Bond Attorney Jim O'Mara of the law firm of Briggs and <br /> Morgan. <br /> Old Business <br /> Brian Wessel reviewed his proposal for a modification to Chapter 8 of the <br /> Charter. As requested by the commission, he presented an annotated map <br /> showing the effected areas. The Commission requested that smaller copies <br /> of the map be made available to commission charter members. <br /> Brian Wessel reviewed the general process of attracting and completing a <br /> commercial or industrial development. As requested by the commission, <br /> City Engineer Darryl Schneider presented a "flow chart" of a typical <br /> development program. <br /> Dave Kennedy and Jim O'Mara commented on the proposal and answered <br /> question for the commission. <br /> The charter commission followed the presentations with an open <br /> discussion. <br />
