MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE January 27, 1997 <br /> TO Lino Lakes City Council <br /> FROM Paul Montain, Chairman,Lino Lakes Charter <br /> Commission <br /> REGARDING Road Reconstruction and Five (5)Year Plan <br /> The Lino Lakes Charter Commission requests a meeting with the City Council to <br /> further discuss the plans and schedule regarding road reconstruction. This meeting <br /> could take place at the convenience of the City Council, perhaps during the first half <br /> of February, 1997. <br /> A separate issue to be discussed is the Five (5) Year Plan (Section 7.05, City <br /> Charter). About six (6) months ago I talked to the City Council at a work session <br /> about the Five(5)Year Plan not being in place. City Staff have said that the Plan <br /> could be developed along with the City budget sometime between June, 1996 and <br /> December 31, 1996. My discussion with Staff during the summer and fall was that <br /> the Plan was being worked on. It is now January and the Five (5) Year Plan still has <br /> not been completed. The Charter Commission would like to see a resolution on this <br /> matter. <br />
