CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO.22-65 <br />APPROVING PARTICIPATION IN ANOKA COUNTY CDBG AND HOME <br />PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, the County of Anoka is competing the Urban Requalification process to receiving and <br />administer Federal Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds from the Community Development <br />Block Grant Program and the HOME (Home Investment Partnerships Program); and <br />WHEREAS, the County is required to notify participating cities of the option to be excluded from <br />Anoka County's "Urban County" funding cycles for federal fiscal years 2023 through 2025; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes finds that it is in the best interests of the city to remain a participate <br />in with Anoka County; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA, that the City will continue to participate in the Anoka County CBDG and <br />HOME programs for federal fiscal years 2023 through 2025. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 23rd day of May, 2022. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />and was duly seconded by Council Member and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />
