The <br />Council would like a recommendation as to some increase from P&Z. 5.) Must <br />go through existing codes and up date them. <br />Mr. Karth mentioned the building constructed by Bob Wilson on Highway 49 <br />next to Dick Olsons. He was informed that the Chief of Police, per the <br />Council's request, was going to check into this matter of his not having a <br />building permit, and what he is doing there. We will get back at this <br />after the Chief's inspection. <br />Mr. Karth also recalled that they had granted Ken Rehbein one year to start <br />construction on a set of apartment buildings at Highway 23 (Old Highway 8) and <br />Main Street. The agreement was that if he didn't do anything for one year <br />he would have to resubmit plans. Nothing has been done as yet and it <br />should be looked into. <br />Mr. McLean stated he had seen an advertisement in the paper by the Riding <br />Stable on Birch Street, indicating snowmobiles for rent. There are signs <br />on either side of the stable which state they are open 24 hours. It was <br />recommended that the Council look into this. Would they need a special <br />use permit for this operation? <br />Mr. Kelling moved to adjourn at 10 :33 P.M., Seconded by Mr. Hill. <br />Carried unanimously.
