DESIGN REVIEW BOARD AUGUST 14, 1991 <br />Chairperson Fred Chase called the regular meeting of the design <br />review board to order at 7:00 p.m., at the Lino Lakes City Hall. <br />The following members were present: Al Robinson, Fred Chase, and <br />Robert King. Also present was City Planner, John Miller; and <br />support staff Joyce Lund. <br />John Bergeson arrived later. <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br />Al Robinson moved to approve the June 12, 1991 design review board <br />minutes. Robert King seconded the motion and the motion was <br />approved unanimously. <br />Robert King moved to approve the July 3, 1991 design review board <br />minutes. Al Robinson seconded the motion and the motion was <br />approved unanimously. <br />In regard to the July 10, 1991 minutes there was a question about <br />the fifth paragraph on page 3. Fred Chase asked John Miller about <br />the opening between the lake and the pond. It was agreed the <br />paragraph should read as follows: <br />John Bergeson asked about comments made at the council meeting <br />regarding the lake and the pond and whether you can paddle a <br />canoe across it. John Miller said an opening between the pond <br />and the lake presently exists with the DNR having approved <br />construction of a land bridge between them. <br />Robert King moved to approve the July 10, 1991 minutes of the <br />design review board with this correction. Al Robinson seconded the <br />motion and the motion was approved unanimously. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />No one appeared under open mike. <br />CONSIDERATION OF VARIANCE REQUEST FOR MARK AND DARLA LOWELL <br />DRB APPLICATION #91 -02 <br />Darla Lowell 6559 24th Avenue South addressed the board. Mrs. <br />Lowell stated that for four years she and her husband have been <br />involved with the subdivision process. They are attempting to <br />subdivide their parcel into two lots.
