CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 22-62 <br /> APPROVING CONTRACT WITH NORTHLAND RECREATION INC. FOR <br /> WOODS OF BALDWIN LAKE PARK PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT <br /> WHEREAS,the playground equipment at Woods of Baldwin Lake Park was installed in 1994; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Park Board recommended that the playground equipment be replaced as part <br /> of the 2022 Site Improvements; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff is recommending entering into a contract with Northland Recreation, Inc. via <br /> Sourcewell (formerly NJPA) for the Woods of Baldwin Lake Park Playground project in the <br /> amount of$70,304. This agreement fulfills the competitive solicitation and contract process <br /> required of governmental agencies. <br /> WHEREAS,recommended funding is from the Dedicated Parks Fund. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, hereby <br /> authorizes staff to enter into a contract with Northland Recreation Inc. for the Woods of <br /> Baldwin Lake Park Playground project playground equipment in the amount of$70,304. <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 23rd day of May, 2022. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br /> Ruhland and was duly seconded by Councilmember Cavegn and upon vote being taken thereon, <br /> the following voted in favor thereof: Ruhland, Cavegn, Stoesz,Rafferty <br /> The following voted against same:None(Absent-Lyden) <br /> Ro afferty, M yor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> e Bartell, City leek <br />
