Park Dedication Fees <br />Total # of Lots = <br />4 <br />x 2021 Park Dedication Fee <br />$3,160 <br />= Total Due <br />$12,640 <br />Tree Preservation <br />The goal of tree preservation is to minimize unnecessary loss of habitat, biodiversity and forest <br />resource and to replace removed trees in areas where tree cover is most critical. Tree <br />preservation is especially important within the Shoreland Management Overlay District to <br />prevent erosion, preserve shoreland aesthetics and protect wildlife habitat. <br />Per the Tree List Inventory, there are 793 trees on the subject site. Per revised Sheet TR1-Tree <br />Preservation Plan and Sheet TR2- Tree Mitigation Plan dated June 20, 2022, 23,5 187 trees will <br />be saved, 5-36 605 will be removed in the basie „s non -environmentally sensitive areas, <br />and 2-2 1 will be removed in the natural resource protected area. These 22 trees will be <br />mitigated for- at a rate of one tr-ee provided for- every two tFees removed. The stom+water- bas <br />were ineftWed in the basic use area and they shetild not. <br />Per revised sheet TR2, 104 mitigation trees are required. Twenty-three (23) trees will be <br />planted and the remaining 81 trees will be mitigated - by_paying a $485 fee per tree in lieu of <br />planting for a total of $39,285. <br />Landscaping <br />Canopy cover, foundation landscaping, open space landscaping and buffer and screens are not <br />required for the 4 lot subdivision. <br />Boulevard Trees <br />Boulevard trees are required at the rate of 1 tree per lot frontage for singly family lots. Lots 1-4 <br />contain existing trees along CSAH 54/201h Avenue that serve as boulevard trees. No additional <br />boulevard trees are required. <br />Sod and Ground Cover <br />All disturbed areas shall have appropriate ground cover in accordance with Section <br />1007.043 (17)(h). <br />Environmental Review Record <br />An Environmental Assessment Worksheet is not mandated. The four (4) unattached residential <br />units are under the 250 unattached unit threshold required for a mandatory EAW. <br />
