CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 1D <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Meg Sawyer, HR and Communications Manager <br />MEETING DATE: July 11, 2022 <br />TOPIC: Approve the Hiring of Part -Time Staff for The Rookery <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />INTRODUCTION <br />The Council is being asked to approve the hiring of part-time staff for The Rookery. <br />BACKGROUND <br />As we continue to move forward with the opening of the new activity center, staff is seeking <br />approval to hire part-time personnel to work at The Rookery. <br />The recruiting process continues with interviewing and background investigations. This process <br />has identified candidates that will be a great addition to our staff at The Rookery. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the Council approve the hiring of the part-time personnel listed below: <br />Ella <br />Hohenstern <br />Lifeguard <br />Logan <br />Sonnek <br />Lifeguard <br />Rebekah <br />Stokes <br />Swim Instructor <br />Janine <br />Hanson <br />Aqua Fitness Instructor <br />Start dates vary based on position and training schedule. <br />Please approve the above personnel for the part-time positions at The Rookery Activity Center. <br />
