CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 22-6922-69 <br />APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE 2022 PRIMARY ELECTION <br />WHEREAS, a State Primary election will be held on August 9, 2022; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 204B.20, election judges shall be <br />appointed to serve in an election precinct and the appointing authority shall designate a judge to <br />serve as the head election judge; and <br />WHEREAS, training sessions for election judges in Lino Lakes are provided through an on- <br />line program; and <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 204B.21, Subd. 2, requires appointments be made <br />before the election at which the election judges will serve; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes <br />that the attached list of certified eligible voters are hereby appointed to serve as election judges <br />and head judges for the 2022 State Primary Election if called to do so. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that staff is authorized to add additional judges to serve if <br />that is deemed necessary. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 11 th day of July, 2022. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br />and was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />
