CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 22-6922-69 <br /> APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE 2022 PRIMARY ELECTION <br /> WHEREAS, a State Primary election will be held on August 9, 2022; and <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 204B.20, election judges shall be <br /> appointed to serve in an election precinct and the appointing authority shall designate a judge to <br /> serve as the head election judge; and <br /> WHEREAS,training sessions for election judges in Lino Lakes are provided through an on- <br /> line program; and <br /> WHEREAS,Minnesota Statutes, Section 204B.21, Subd. 2, requires appointments be made <br /> before the election at which the election judges will serve; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes <br /> that the attached list of certified eligible voters are hereby appointed to serve as election judges <br /> and head judges for the 2022 State Primary Election if called to do so. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that staff is authorized to add additional judges to serve if <br /> that is deemed necessary. <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 1 lth day of July, 2022. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br /> Cavegn and was duly seconded by Councilmember Lyden and upon a vote being taken <br /> thereon,the following voted in favor thereof: Cavegn, Lyden, Ruhland, Stoesz, Raffert <br /> The following voted against same:None <br /> �'l I t4' art <br /> Ro Rafferty, Wayor <br /> ATTEST:'fu <br /> liiinne Bartell, City) <br /> ity Clerk— <br />
