Traffic Impact Study Robinson Property Yield Plan - With Carl Street Connection Results of the forecast year 2040 build traffic operations analysis under the Yield Plan with a Carl Street connection, presented in Table 15, indicate that each study intersection is expected to operate at overall LOS B or better during the weekday a.m. and p.m. peak hours. Therefore, no geometric or traffic control improvements are required from an operations perspective. 5.2 Additional Build Considerations Additional build considerations related to the proposed development include the following: 5.2.1 Main Street & Sunset Avenue Roundabout Capacity While Synchro/SimTraffic software is typically not utilized to analyze operations at a roundabout, the planned single -lane roundabout at the Main Street/Sunset Avenue intersection is expected to operate adequately through the forecast year 2040 conditions. To affirm adequate estimated operations, a cursory roundabout capacity analysis was performed at the Main Street/ Sunset Avenue intersection by comparing the forecast year 2040 traffic volumes against the roundabout capacity curves presented in the Highway Capacity Manual, 6th edition. The results of this analysis, shown in Figure 15 and Figure 16, indicate that the capacity provided by the planned Main Street/Sunset Avenue single -lane roundabout is able to accommodate the forecast year 2040 traffic volumes for each potential site plan alternative.
