Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />INSPECTION TRIPS <br />The Truck Committee members will be advised as to the date of the following phases of construction: <br />Pre -Construction (prior to bending of metal), Pre -Paint (final design/equipment layout), and <br />Pre -Delivery. All Truck Committee members are welcome to travel to the factory during these, and any <br />other stages of construction, at the purchaser's expense. <br />All changes to original proposal specifications, as approved by the Truck Committee during any factory <br />visit, will be noted on a "revised specification", provided by Custom Fire and distributed to the <br />designated head of Truck Committee, within five working days after any Conference(s). <br />ON-LINE CUSTOMER INTERACTION <br />CustomFME will provide the capability for online access through the Factory Blog on the <br />www.customfire.com website. The Customer will have a section of this website to access for status of <br />their own apparatus during the construction phases. Weekly digital photos will be taken of: <br />1. Chassis (front, drivers side and passengers side) <br />2. Body, prior to painting (front, drivers side, passengers side, and rear) <br />3. Body and pump module combined (front, drivers side, passengers side, and rear) <br />4. Final assembly of apparatus (front, drivers side, passengers side, and rear) <br />PROGRESS PAYMENT <br />In order to eliminate interest and handling charges for the chassis portion, a "Progress Payment" shall be <br />made upon receipt of chassis, at Bidder's factory. This amount shall be for an equivalent portion of the <br />contract and is to be identified on the Bid Proposal page. <br />BALANCE PAYMENT TERMS <br />All Bidders shall be required to detail on the Proposal Page, and in their own exact words, the balance <br />payment terms for said apparatus. <br />Final delivery price shall not include any Local, State, or Federal taxes. The Bidder shall not be liable for <br />any State or Federally mandated tax or program after the sale of this apparatus. <br />POST CONTRACT SURCHARGES <br />"The pricing contained in this proposal for the apparatus body and accessories is quoted at current <br />price levels and is valid for 30 days. <br />The chassis price is valid till <br />Due to supply chain volatility, surcharges may be added after contract and will be disclosed and <br />passed on to buyer at cost. Surcharges shall not be deemed suitable reason for contract termination <br />by either party." <br />07/26/22 <br />-1- <br />
