Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />The primary/lower paint color shall be: <br />CAB PAINT SECONDARY/UPPER COLOR <br />The secondary/upper paint color shall be: <br />CAB PAINT EXTERIOR BREAKLINE <br />The upper and lower paint shall meet at a breakline on the cab which shall be located approximately 1.00 <br />inch below the door windows on each side of the cab. The breakline shall curve down at the front cab <br />corners to approximately 5.00 inches below the windshields on the front of the cab. <br />CAB PAINT PINSTRIPE <br />A 0.50 inch wide gold leaf tape with black borders shall be applied on the break line between the two <br />different colored surfaces. <br />CAB PAINT WARRANTY <br />Purchaser shall receive a Paint and Finish (Exterior Clear coated) Ten (10) Years limited warranty in <br />accordance with, and subject to, warranty certificate RFW0710. The warranty certificate is incorporated <br />by reference into this proposal, and included with this proposal or available upon request. <br />CAB PAINT INTERIOR <br />The visible interior cab structure surfaces shall be painted with the same color as the exterior color or the <br />lower exterior color with a two-tone. <br />CAB ENTRY DOORS <br />The cab shall include four (4) entry doors, two (2) front doors and two (2) crew doors designed for ease <br />of entering and egress when outfitted with an SCBA. The doors shall be constructed of extruded <br />aluminum with a nominal thickness of 0.13 inch. The exterior skins shall be constructed of 0.13 inch <br />aluminum plate. <br />The doors shall include a double rolled style automotive rubber seal around the perimeter of each door <br />frame and door edge which ensures a weather tight fit. <br />All door hinges shall be hidden within flush mounted cab doors for a pleasing smooth appearance and <br />perfect fit along each side of the cab. Each door hinge shall be piano style with a 0.38 inch pin and shall <br />be constructed of stainless steel. <br />CAB ENTRY DOOR TYPE <br />All cab entry doors shall be full length in design to fully enclose the lower cab steps. Entry doors shall <br />include Pollak mechanical plunger style switches for electrical component activation. <br />CAB INSULATION <br />The cab ceiling and walls shall include a nonwoven polyester fiber insulation. The insulation shall act as <br />a barrier absorbing noise as well as assisting in sustaining the desired climate within the cab interior. <br />REAR CAB ROOF MODIFICATION <br />07/26/22 <br />-11- <br />
