Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />lights shall be disabled with park brake engaged. The cable shall exit the light bar on the right side of the <br />cab. <br />There shall also be lightbar provisions for two (2) Whelen Mini Edge Ultra Freedom IV series forward <br />facing lightbars mounted on the left and right side of the front cab roof, each at a 30 degree angle. Each <br />lightbar shall be 21.50 inches in length. Each lightbar shall feature four (4) red LED light modules and <br />one (1) clear LED light modules per lightbar. The clear lights shall be disabled with park brake engaged. <br />The cables shall exit the lightbars near the center of each lightbar. <br />GROUND LIGHTS <br />Each door shall include a Tecniq T44 LED ground light mounted to the underside of the cab step below <br />each door. The lights shall include a polycarbonate lens, a housing which is vibration welded and LEDs <br />which shall be shock mounted for extended life. <br />GROUND LIGHTS <br />The ground lighting shall be activated when the parking brake is set, by the opening of the door on the <br />respective cab side, and through a virtual button on the Vista display and control screen. <br />LOWER CAB STEP LIGHTS <br />The middle step located at each door shall include a Tecniq T44 LED light which shall activate with the <br />opening of the respective door. The lights shall include a polycarbonate lens, a housing which is <br />vibration welded and LEDs which shall be shock mounted for extended life. <br />INTERMEDIATE STEP LIGHTS <br />The intermediate step well area at the front doors shall include a TecNiq D06 LED light within a chrome <br />housing. The front egress step lights shall provide visibility to the step well area for the first step exiting <br />the vehicle. The Egress step lights shall activate with entry step lighting. <br />MAP LIGHTS <br />A Roxter gooseneck style map light shall be provided. The light shall have a clear bulb and a control <br />switch on the base. The light shall be located on the right hand side of the dash. <br />ENGINE COMPARTMENT LIGHT <br />There shall be a LED NFPA compliant light mounted under the engine tunnel for area work lighting on <br />the engine. The light shall include a polycarbonate lens, a housing which is vibration welded and a bulb <br />which shall be shock mounted for extended life. The light shall activate automatically when the cab is <br />tilted. <br />DO NOT MOVE APPARATUS LIGHT <br />The front headliner of the cab shall include a flashing red TecNiq K50 LED light clearly labeled "Do Not <br />Move Apparatus". In addition to the flashing red light, an audible alarm shall be included which shall <br />sound while the light is activated. <br />The flashing red light shall be located centered left to right for greatest visibility. <br />07/26/22 <br />-55- <br />
