Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />The original custom chassis Driver -Facing Dash Panel Plate is to be removed and replaced with a <br />custom-made metal panel, designed to relocate certain OEM installed switches and consoles, in order to <br />provide adequate room for installation of the Fire Pump Shift Console. <br />The specified remote Pump Shift Console is to be located: on the driver's side switch panel, to the right <br />of the steering wheel, above the engine tunnel facing OUTBOARD. <br />PUMP "ENGAGED" INDICATOR LIGHT, VISIBLE TO PUMP OPERATOR <br />Pump Control Panel is to have a single "Green Color" light which illuminates upon engagement of the <br />pump transmission (into 'Pump" position). This light is to remain illuminated until the pump is returned <br />to the 'Road" position. Light fixture is to be of the LED style. Light may be standalone, or integral with <br />specified Engine Instrumentation Console. <br />PUMP TEST. PRELIMINARY AND FINAL CERTIFICATION TESTING <br />After a "preliminary" apparatus factory performance test, the above specified pump test/certification is to <br />be performed by apparatus manufacturer and "witnessed" by an independent third party as per NFPA <br />1901 pumping standards, with proper serialized certification provided upon apparatus delivery. <br />PRESSURE GOVERNOR AND MONITORING DISPLAY <br />Fire Research PumpBoss model PBA400-A00 pressure governor and monitoring display kit is to be <br />provided and installed. The kit is to include a control module, pressure sensor, and cables. The control <br />module case is to be waterproof and have dimensions not to exceed 6 .75" high by 4 .625" wide by 1 .75" <br />deep. Inputs for monitored information shall be from a J1939 data bus or independent sensors. Outputs <br />for engine control shall be on the J1939 data bus or engine specific wiring. <br />FUNCTION INDICATORS <br />The following continuous displays shall be provided: <br />• CHECK ENGINE and STOP ENGINE warning LEDs <br />• Engine RPM; shown with four daylight bright LED digits more than .5" high <br />• Engine OIL PRESSURE; shown on an LED bar graph display in 10 PSI increments <br />• Engine TEMPERTURE; shown on an LED bar graph display in 10 degree increments <br />• BATTERY VOLTAGE; shown on an LED bar graph display in 0.5 -Volt increments <br />• PSI / RPM setting; shown on a dot matrix message display <br />• PSI and RPM mode LEDs <br />• THROTTLE READY LED. <br />MESSAGE DISPLAY <br />07/26/22 <br />-79- <br />
