Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />A flanged bolt -on or victaulic grooved stainless steel pump discharge foam manifold is to be furnished, <br />for use with the specified direct discharge injection foam system. Discharge manifold is to include a 3" <br />W. stainless steel dual plate spring loaded check valve, fitting tap for foam injection line, fitting tap for <br />flow sensor, bottom fitting tap for the remote manifold drain valve, and multiple taps for use with <br />discharge valves designated as foam lines. Discharge foam manifold is to be of adequate size/capacity to <br />handle flows not exceeding 850 gallons per minute. <br />NOTE: Purchaser must designate which of the above specified Discharge Outlet Connections are to be <br />Foam Capable, not to exceed 850 gallons per minute total flow. NFPA Discharge Flow Rates are <br />designated in Table 16.7.1. <br />FOAM MANIFOLD DRAIN <br />A .75" quarter -turn bronze drain valve, with chrome plated control handle and recessed name tag, is to be <br />furnished, located on a side pump panel immediately above the running board/rubrail level. Manifold <br />drain line is to extend from a bottom tap on the foam manifold, with positive "gravity -drain" to the panel <br />mount drain valve, assuring complete drainage of the manifold downstream of its check valve and <br />upstream of the foam capable discharge valves. <br />FOAM LEVEL GAUGEANDICATOR <br />FOAM RESERVOIR, CLASS -A FOAM CONCENTRATE <br />Class -A foam cell to be furnished, located interior of specified non-metallic water tank, totally separate <br />from baffled water cavities. Refer to Water Tank for full description and capacity of the Class -A foam <br />cell. <br />FOAM LEVEL-TANKVISION, FOR CLASS -A FOAM <br />One (1), FRC, "TankVision" foam tank level indicator to be furnished with: weatherproof encapsulated <br />high intensity LED light indicator, 30-ft sensor cable extension for foam tank level indicator, tank level <br />sensing probe, and protected wiring loom. Foam tank level indicator to be mounted on pump control <br />panel.
