Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />Std Wheelwell Door Finish <br />SCBA COMPARTMENT STRAPS <br />One -inch (1") wide loop of black webbing shall be installed in each SCBA compartment to prevent the <br />bottle from sliding out of the compartment in case of door failure. The loop shall be mounted, centered in <br />the compartment and shall hang within one -inch (I") of the compartment floor to allow the bottle to pass <br />by the strap when the bottle is placed in the compartment. The strap shall loop over the valve. <br />OFFICER SIDE BETWEEN TANDEMS <br />ABSORBENT DISPENSER <br />One (1) each, triangular shaped fully enclosed floor dry hopper compartment shall be furnished. <br />A triangular shaped floor dry hopper shall be provided, constructed of stainless steel or polypropylene, <br />mounted to a telescoping roller slide mechanism. <br />The hopper shall have a hinged top fill door and an integral bottom chute with guillotine dispensing door. <br />EXTERIOR <br />A weather-stripped over -lapping exterior panel shall be provided, attached to compartment, constructed <br />of brushed 304 12 gauge stainless steel with 4B brushed finish. <br />Dispenser shall be secured by two (2) push button trigger latches on exterior panel. <br />LIGHT <br />Hopper compartment door shall be provided with a proximity switch to activate DO NOT MOVE <br />VEHICLE LIGHT, and notify driver of an open door condition. <br />Std Wheelwell Door Finish <br />OFFICER SIDE REAR WHEEL WELL <br />SCBA STORAGE COMPARTMENT <br />One (1) triangular shaped compartment is to be furnished to accommodate three (3) SCBA bottles. <br />Compartment housing that bolt to exterior of wheel well with exposed flange for ease of removal and <br />weather seal. <br />INTERIOR <br />Compartment interior shall be spray coated with a rubberized material for bottle protection and retention. <br />07/26/22 <br />- 127 - <br />
