DASH PANEL GROUP <br />The main center dash area shall include three (3) aluminum removable panels located one (1) to the right <br />of the driver position, one (1) in the center of the dash and one (1) to the left of the officer position. The <br />panels shall be coated with a black texture finish. The center panel shall be within comfortable reach of <br />both the driver and officer. <br />SWITCHES CENTER PANEL <br />The center dash panel shall include twelve (12) rocker switch positons in a single row across the top of <br />the panel. <br />A rocker switch with a blank legend installed directly above shall be provided for any position without a <br />switch and legend designated by a specific option. The non -specified switches shall be two -position, <br />black switches with a green indicator light. Each blank switch legend can be custom engraved by the <br />body manufacturer. All switch legends shall have backlighting provided. <br />SWITCHES LEFT PANEL <br />The left dash panel shall include three (3) switches. There shall be two (2) across the top of the panel <br />with one (1) below. One (1) of the top row of switches shall be rocker type and the left one (1) shall be <br />the windshield wiper/washer control switch. The lower switch shall be a rocker type switch. <br />A rocker switch with a blank legend installed directly above shall be provided for any position not <br />designated by a specific option. The non -designated switches shall be two -position, black switches with <br />a green indicator light. Each blank switch legend can be custom engraved by the body manufacturer. All <br />switch legends shall have backlighting provided. <br />SWITCHES RIGHT PANEL <br />The right dash panel shall include three (3) rocker switch positions in the upper right hand portion of the <br />panel. <br />A rocker switch with a blank legend installed directly above shall be provided for any position without a <br />switch and legend designated by a specific option. The non -specified switches shall be two -position, <br />black switches with a green indicator light. Each blank switch legend can be custom engraved by the <br />body manufacturer. All switch legends shall have backlighting provided. <br />SEAT BELT WARNING <br />A Weldon seat belt warning system, integrated with the Vehicle Data Recorder system, shall be installed <br />for each seat within the cab. The system shall provide a visual warning indicator in the Vista display <br />and control screen(s). <br />The warning system shall activate when any seat is occupied with a minimum of 60 pounds, the <br />corresponding seat belt remains unfastened, and the park brake is released. The warning system shall <br />also activate when any seat is occupied, the corresponding seat belt was fastened in an incorrect <br />sequence, and the park brake is released. Once activated, the visual indicators and applicable audible <br />alarm shall remain active until all occupied seats have the seat belts fastened. <br />SEAT MATERIAL <br />The Bostrom Firefighter seats shall include a covering of extra high strength, wear resistant fabric made <br />of durable low seam Durawear P1usTM ballistic polyester. A PVC coating shall be bonded to the back <br />
