We have chosen this
team intentionally based on their collective experience and expertise. We are confident that this team will
provide effective communication and innovative solutions which will deliver the successful completion of
this project. The WSB Team will provide the following benefits to the City:
Trusted & Experienced Team: WSB has successfully completed numerous advanced water treatment
plant projects throughout the Midwest. Our team has provided project management, design, bidding, and
construction services for 15 water treatment plants constructed in the Metropolitan area and 38 water
treatment plants in MN, WI, IA, and ND. In addition, our project manager has been involved in the design,
bidding, and construction of eight municipal water treatment plants in Minnesota over 6,000 gpm in
capacity in the past 15 years, more than any other project manager or engineering firm in Minnesota. The
city will receive the most experienced team for this major infrastructure project.
Funding Expertise: Obtaining funding for this major infrastructure project will be one of the most critical
factors when selecting the right consultant for the city. WSB has applied for funding and administering
grants and loans from the Public Facilities Authority, the Minnesota State Bonding Bill, and federal
earmarks. The city will greatly benefit from our extensive funding experience as we lead the process and
leave no stone unturned to pursue funding for your project.
Community Involvement & Clear Communicatior The city's proposed water treatment plant will likely be
one the most important projects to be planned and constructed in the City of Lino Lakes. This project will
require a firm that is highly experienced in community involvement to keep residents and business owners
up to date throughout the project. We excel in community involvement and have the experience needed
to effectively communicate with the public and provide concepts and ideas that will not only be accepted,
but also provide a sense of ownership and pride for the community. We will involve the community using a
mix of digital and traditional engagement methods such as project websites, visualizations, meetings, and
printed materials.
Thank you for the opportunity to provide our qualifications to the City of Lino Lakes for this project. If you
have any questions, please contact Greg Johnson at 612.209.0140, or gjohnson@wsbeng.com.
Sincerely, WSB
Greg Johnson, PE I Director of Water and Wastewater / Design Project Manager and Principal -in -Charge
