STAFF ORIGINATOR: <br />MEETING DATE: <br />TOPIC: <br />VOTE REQUIRED <br />INTRODUCTION <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 6D <br />Diane Hankee, City Engineer <br />September 12, 2022 <br />Resolution No. 22-102, Accepting Quotes and Awarding a <br />Construction Contract, 2022 Surface Water Maintenance Project <br />315 Vote Required <br />Staff is requesting authorization to accept quotes and award the construction contract for the <br />2022 Surface Water Maintenance Project. <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City's annual Surface Water Management Program (S)&MP) addresses areas in need of <br />maintenance, and conforms to the City's Surface Water Pollution and Prevention Plan. The City <br />will perform storm sewer repair and cleaning, vegetation removal, sediment removal, and pond <br />cleaning. This type of work is best completed in dry conditions or the winter season. <br />The 2022 Surface Water Maintenance Project include three sites, shown in the table below: <br />AREA <br />IMPROVEMENT <br />Site 1 — Pond CWC-056-A <br />Pond Maintenance — Sediment Removal <br />Site 2 — Pond RES-015-A <br />Pond Maintenance — Sediment Removal <br />Site 3 —Pond RES-022-D <br />Pond Maintenance — Sediment Removal <br />Funding for the project is through the Stormwater Maintenance Fund.
