Planning & Zoning Board <br />August 10, 2022 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />APPROVED MINUTES <br /> <br />Mr. Laden asked Staff if the southern section of the property will be developable, and <br />if not, is The City of Lino Lakes missing out on the opportunity of connecting <br />Sandhill Drive to Pine Hollow Drive. <br /> <br />Ms. Larsen stated that Staff is not recommending connecting Sandhill Drive to Pine <br />Hollow Drive at this time but a future connection of both streets is still possible. <br /> <br />Mr. Vojtech asked Staff if there are any other twenty four hour gas stations in Lino <br />Lakes. <br /> <br />Staff stated there is no limitation on operating hours for motor fuel stations in Lino <br />Lakes, and all motor fuel stations could operate for twenty four hours if they so <br />choose. <br /> <br />Mr. Vojtech asked Staff to clarify the operating hours of the proposed car wash. <br /> <br />Staff stated that the operating hours of the car wash will also be twenty four hours. <br /> <br />Mr. Vojtech stated that he would like to the Board to further explore the operating <br />hours of the car wash. <br /> <br />Applicant Comments <br /> <br />Dean George, 1626 Oak Street, La Crosse, WI 54602, stated that Kwik Trip is happy <br />to be in Lino Lakes and intends to create between twenty five and forty jobs for the <br />store. <br /> <br />Mr. Root asked the applicant how many daily deliveries could be expected to the site <br />per day. <br /> <br />Mr. George clarified that every Kwik Trip store will get one grocery truck a day and <br />one to two tanker trucks a week. <br /> <br />Mr. George also provided further clarification to Mr. Roots question pertaining to the <br />sites parking stall count. <br /> <br />Mr. George stated that Kwik trip will comply with any hour of operation enforcement <br />for the proposed car wash. <br /> <br />Chair Tralle declared the Public Hearing open at 7:42 p.m. <br /> <br />Jan Kreminski, 248 Pine Hollow Drive, Circle Pines, MN 55014, stated concern with <br />the potential increase in foot traffic into the Pine Hollow development from the site. <br />
