CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 22-104 <br /> APPROVING UPDATES TO EMPLOYEE DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY <br /> WHEREAS,periodically staff reviews the City's policies to make sure they are up-to-date; and <br /> WHEREAS,the new Minnesota law has legalized cannabinoids which would require the City to <br /> update its policy; and <br /> WHEREAS, there have been recent changes for Non-DOT employees standards for drug and alcohol <br /> policy; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff has reviewed both drug and alcohol policies for employees and made updates to <br /> reflect any law changes and recommended best practices. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br /> LAKES,MINNESOTA,that the updated employee drug and alcohol policies are approved. <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 12th day of September, 2022. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember Lyden and <br /> was duly seconded by Councilmember Stoesz and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br /> in favor thereof: Lyden, Stoesz, Cavegn, Rafferty <br /> The following voted against same: None (Absent-Ruhland))4 <br /> ",71 <br /> Rob Rafferty,Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Julianne Bartell, City Cler <br />
