�\ CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 22-105 <br /> APPROVING THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT FOR IMPROVEMENTS AT <br /> THE INTERSECTION OF ANOKA COUNTY CSAH 49 AND ANOKA COUNTY <br /> CSAH 32/RAMSEY COUNTY CSAH I IN THE CITIES OF LINO LAKES,MN <br /> AND SHOREVIEW, MN <br /> WHEREAS, Anoka County and the City of Lino Lakes find that it is in the best interest <br /> of the traveling public to reconstruct the intersection of County State Aid Highway 49 <br /> (Hodgson Road), hereinafter referred to as CSAH 49, and Anoka County State Aid <br /> Highway 32 (Ash Street)/Ramsey County State Aid Highway 1 (County Road J), <br /> hereinafter referred to as CSAH 32/CSAH 1, and, <br /> WHEREAS,the County has prepared preliminary design plans for the reconstruction of <br /> the intersection of CSAH 49 and CSAH 32/CSAH 1 in accordance with Anoka County, <br /> Ramsey County and the Minnesota Department of Transportation standards to a staff <br /> approved layout condition; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Anoka and Ramsey Counties have joint jurisdiction over the intersection of <br /> CSAH 49 and CSAH 32/CSAH 1; and <br /> WHEREAS,the parties agree that it is in their best interest that the cost of the project be <br /> shared; and <br /> WHEREAS, Minn. Stat. § 471.59 authorizes political subdivisions of the state to enter <br /> into joint powers agreements for the joint exercise of powers common to each. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino <br /> Lakes approves the Joint Powers Agreement with Anoka County to reconstruct the <br /> intersection of County State Aid Highway 49 (Hodgson Road), and Anoka County State <br /> Aid Highway 32 (Ash Street)/Ramsey County State Aid Highway 1 (County Road J). <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 12th day of September, 2022. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by <br /> Councilmember Cavegn and was duly seconded by Councilmember Stoesz nd upon vote <br /> being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Lyden, Cavegn, Stoesz, <br /> Rafferty <br /> The following voted against same: None (Absent - Ruhland) �t.. <br /> Ro afferty, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> _ a _ <br /> i n e Bartell, City C erk <br />
