CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 22-107 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING LINO LAKES LIONS CLUB <br /> APPLICATION FOR A 1-4 DAY TEMPORARY ON-SALE <br /> LIQUOR LICENSE APPLICATION AND EXEMPT GAMBLING PERMIT <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 340A, allows the city council to issue a temporary <br /> on-sale liquor license to a non-profit organization in connection with a social event sponsored by <br /> the licensee and held within the city limits; and <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 349, allows non-profit organizations to conduct 5 or <br /> less events per calendar year; <br /> WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Lions Club has submitted applications for a temporary on-sale <br /> liquor license and Exempt Gambling Permit; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Lino Lakes Lions Club has paid the required fee for these permits, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Alcohol & Gambling Enforcement Division and the Minnesota Gambling <br /> Control Board requires that the applications be approved by the City of Lino Lakes City Council <br /> before submitting for approval; <br /> NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> That the Lino Lakes City Council hereby approves the request of the Lino Lakes Lions Club for <br /> a temporary on-sale liquor license to be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on October 8, 2022. <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 12t`day of September, 2022. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br /> Lyden and was duly seconded by Councilmember Stoesz and upon vote being taken thereon, the <br /> following voted in favor thereof.
