CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br /> APPROVED <br /> 42 Item 6D) Consider Resolution No. 22-122,Approving 2023 Anoka County <br /> 43 Residential Recycling Program Agreement-Environmental Coordinator Nelson <br /> 44 reviewed his written request for approval of the annual program agreement for the City's <br /> 45 residential recycling activities. Activities funded by the grant were noted. <br /> 46 Councilmember Ruhland asked questions about the City's recycling events. He also <br /> 47 asked if the City has considered doing an annual pick up event. Staff explained the <br /> 48 City's experience in providing services and the decision to provide monthly and annual <br /> 49 recycle day. <br /> 50 Item 6E) Consider Resolution No. 22-123,Approving Anoka County <br /> 51 Agreement for Organics Enclosure - Environmental Coordinator Nelson reviewed the <br /> 52 staff recommendation to enter an agreement that will provide an additional enclosure at <br /> 53 one location. He noted that demand for organics recycling continues to increase. Mayor <br /> 54 Rafferty asked if there is an odor involved. Mr. Nelson noted the location planned which <br /> 55 he feels will keep the enclosure with adequate space from park activities. <br /> 56 Item 6F) Public Hearing, Consider Resolution No. 22-127,Approving Amended <br /> 57 and Restated Street Reconstruction Plan-Community Development Director <br /> 58 Grochala reviewed his written report recommending the addition of a roadway(Pheasant <br /> 59 Run). This is made possible by cost under runs and available contingency. <br /> 60 Item 6G) 2022 I35E Pipe Crossing Project-City Engineer Hankee reviewed the <br /> 61 staff report. For this project, a bid process was undertaken; the bid included alternates. <br /> 62 A favorable bid was received and staff is requesting council approval.
