EDA MINUTES <br />DRAFT <br /> <br /> <br /> 1 <br />DATE : May 23, 2022 1 <br />TIME STARTED : 7:37 p.m. 2 <br />TIME ENDED : 8:03 p.m. 3 <br />MEMBERS PRESENT : EDA Members Rafferty, Stoesz, 4 <br />Cavegn, Ruhland 5 <br />MEMBERS ABSENT : EDA Member Lyden 6 <br />OTHERS PRESENT : Community Development Director 7 <br />Michael Grochala; City Administrator 8 <br />Sarah Cotton 9 <br /> 10 <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:37 p.m. by EDA President Ruhland 11 <br /> 12 <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES OF MAY 2, 2022 13 <br /> 14 <br />Economic Development Authority (EDA) Member Cavegn moved to approve the 15 <br />minutes of May 2, 2022 as presented. EDA Member Rafferty seconded the motion. 16 <br />Motion carried on a voice vote. 17 <br /> 18 <br />DISCUSSION ITEM 19 <br /> 20 <br />President Ruhland read a statement explaining the need to close the meeting, as allowed 21 <br />under law, in order to discuss an offer and counter offer for the sale of certain property 22 <br />(Lots 1-3, Block 2 and Outlots B & C, The Village No. 4). 23 <br /> 24 <br />EDA Member Cavegn moved to close the meeting. EDA Member Rafferty seconded the 25 <br />motion. Motion carried: Yeas, 4; Nays none. 26 <br /> 27 <br />Upon completion of discussion of the above matter, EDA Member Cavegn moved to 28 <br />open the meeting. EDA Member Rafferty seconded the motion. Motion carried: Yeas, 29 <br />4; Nays none. 30 <br /> 31 <br />EDA Member Ruhland moved to set the hearing date for sale of the property (June 13, 32 <br />2022, following regular City Council meeting). EDA Member Cavegn seconded the 33 <br />motion. Motion carried: Yeas, 4; Nays none. 34 <br /> 35 <br />The meeting was recorded and the recording will be maintained in the Office of the City 36 <br />Clerk as required. 37 <br /> 38 <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:03 p.m. 39 <br /> 40 <br /> 41 <br /> 42
