Anoka County <br />MINNESOTA <br />Respectful, Innovative, Fiscally Responsible <br />2022 Municipal Waste Prevention & Recycling <br />Grant Program Application <br />7/2s/22 <br />Date Application Submitted: <br />Andy Nelson, Environmental Coordinator, City of Lino Lakes <br />Application Submitted By: <br />Date Application Reviewed by Anoka County: <br />Date Application Approved by Anoka County: <br />Date Application Denied by Anoka County: <br />Grant funding of up to $25,000 per municipality may be available for municipal waste prevention and <br />recycling projects in Anoka County that are not included in the approved 2022 SCORE grant program. <br />Waste prevention and recycling grant applications will be considered on a case -by -case basis with <br />approval at the discretion Anoka County. Capital improvement projects may also be considered and will <br />require additional detailed documentation including how the improvement space or equipment will be <br />dedicated to waste prevention and/or recycling over a 15-year period. <br />Submit completed applications and/or grant program questions via email to Jill Curran at <br />iill.curran@co.anoka.mn.us. All projects must be completed and invoiced by the end of day <br />December 31, 2022. <br />Eligible Project Expenses <br />Waste Prevention and Reuse Project Expenses <br />• New waste prevention or reuse project start-up expenses <br />o Project viability study <br />o Equipment and supplies <br />o Program promotion materials <br />o Staff training <br />• Space remodeling <br />• New space construction <br />Organics/Food Waste Project Expenses <br />• Food waste drop-off start-up expenses <br />• Food waste enclosure <br />• Food waste prevention <br />2022 Municipal Waste Prevention and Recycling Grant Program 1 <br />
