STAFF ORIGINATOR: <br />MEETING DATE <br />TOPIC: <br />VOTE REQUIRED: <br />INTRODUCTION <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 6J <br />Kelsey Gelhar, Assistant City Engineer <br />October 10, 2022 <br />Consider Resolution No. 22-119, Adopting Assessments, Watermark <br />5t' Addition <br />3/5 Vote Required <br />Staff is requesting City Council consideration to adopt assessments for the Watermark 51' Addition <br />Development pursuant the Development Agreement for the project. <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City Council approved the Development Agreement for Watermark 5th Addition on August 8tn, <br />2022. The Agreement provides for the assessment of trunk water, sanitary sewer, and surface water <br />fees. <br />The total amount to be assessed for Watermark 5t' Addition is $516,462.92. In the above referenced <br />Development Agreement, the developer has waived any and all procedural and substantive objections <br />to the special assessments. <br />The developer has reviewed and approved the assessments. Attached is the proposed assessment roll. <br />Property ID Numbers and addresses have yet to be assigned by Anoka County and will be updated <br />prior to registering the assessment with the county. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. 22-119, Adopting Assessments, Watermark 5th <br />Addition. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1.
