This is unique to the Lino Lakes community and with the <br />Rec Center in close proximity to the Blue Heron Colony, this unique <br />connection will resonate with residents. <br />A C TIVI T Y CENTE R <br />Great Blue Heron and their habitat align with our goal of creating a brand that appeals to <br />young families as we develop our story: <br />Lino Lakes Community PrideHeron flocks live in their own colony - <br />young and old <br />Membership allows citizens to return and participate in a variety of activities year round <br />Heron are family birds and stick together <br />returning to their nesting area each year <br />The Rookery o ers both aquatic and non-aquatic activities <br />Heron are water and land based animals <br />Unique to Lino Lakes, the Rookery can utilize this term with our youth program and activities <br />A ‘Brood’ is a baby Heron <br />Heron support each other – often sharing food sources and defending the rookery together. <br />Membership provides support to the community – every dollar spent goes back to support programs.
