3. No vehicle shall be parked in a manner that blocks a City or County sidewalk, <br />park, or trail. <br />4. The vehicles are not connected to any water or sewage disposal system on the <br />residential or rural property where the same is so parked or stored. <br />5. A recreational vehicle or trailer shall not be utilized for storage of goods, <br />materials, or equipment other than those items considered to be part of the unit or essential for its <br />immediate use. <br />6. No recreational vehicle may be used as a living quarter while stored/parked on a <br />residential or rural property. <br />(c) Motor Vehicles exceeding a gross weight rating of ' 12, 000 pounds. <br />1. No motor vehicle, except recreational vehicle, exceeding a gross weight rating of <br />12,000 pounds shall be parked or stored, indoors or outdoors, in a residential zoning district, or <br />on a lot of less than two and a half (2 '/2) acres in a rural zoning district, except when loading, <br />unloading, or rendering a service. <br />a. An administrative permit may be obtained from the Community Development <br />Department for the temporary parking or storage of motor vehicles that <br />comply with the following requirements: <br />i. The motor vehicle is operable and appropriately licensed at all times. <br />ii. The vehicle shall not be parked or stored for more than 72 hours within a <br />seven (7) day period excluding legal holidays. <br />iii. The vehicle shall be parked or stored behind the front of the dwelling. <br />iv. No more than one permit shall be granted per residence. <br />v. Neither the truck engine nor any other motorized component shall be left <br />running while the vehicle is parked or stored. <br />vi. There shall be a minimum of 150 feet from the vehicle to the nearest lot <br />line. <br />vii. The vehicle and trailer shall remain connected. <br />viii. All parking permits shall be reviewed and renewed on July 1 st of each <br />year at a fee established by the City Council. If at any time the conditions <br />or requirements of permit approval are violated, the permit may be <br />revoked. <br />134 <br />
