CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO.22-135 <br />APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT <br />FOR THE CHRISTMAS IN THE PARK EVENT ON DECEMBER 10, 2022 <br />WHEREAS, Nancy Johnson, Centerville Lions, has submitted an application for a special event <br />permit; and <br />WHEREAS, most of the event will be held in the City of Centerville but a horse drawn trailer is <br />proposed to proceed on LaMotte Drive in Lino Lakes; and <br />WHEREAS, applicant will ensure that event is compliant with City Ordinance 901.03 (4a) Public <br />Nuisances Affecting Peace and Safety; and <br />WHEREAS, the Public Safety Department has reviewed the application and event plans; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, <br />Minnesota: <br />That the City Council authorizes issuance of a Special Event Permit to Nancy Johnson <br />representing the Centerville Lions for an event on December 10, 2022.. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14th day of November, 2022. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br />and was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />
